Windows 8.1 Balck Screen

My laptop HCL ME 1024 Processor Core i5 graphic Intel HD graphic 3000 OS Windows 8.1
When I am restarting after windows booting the laptop screen became
black so I follow some instruction from net and uninstall the graphic
driver and set the Microsoft basic graphic driver after that everything
is ok but the display does not fine so I update the Intel driver from
Intel site again same problem after restarting windows the laptop
screen became black kindly help me to solve the problem

Windows 8.1 should have native drivers for Intel graphics card 3000,why did you install one from Intel site? Let windows update let you know when a new driver is found and available instead.
Does the native driver give you any other issues,how does the resolution look?

Do not update drivers unless there is a major issue it resolves that is listed,sometimes it may cause more problems.

What generation Intel i5 is it?
