I am hoping you guys can work your magic once again!
I have a HP Presario Compaq laptop - a copy of the specs is attached. Unit was used by all in the family so it got full of all sorts of software & eventually became unusable.
I took it to a local PC shop where they wiped the hard drive & reloaded Windows7, however the Product Key was just about unreadable so the guy told me that they eventually got Windows7, but somehow it seemed that they had a hacked copy.....
Got it home & seemed to be running OK until fairly soon I noticed it to be loading & responding a bit slow. As a test I ran it alongside another one of the same laptops in the house ran it on an online film streaming service. The 'cleaned' PC ran it's CPU up to 100% in about 3 minutes, while the other unit ran the film OK at about 60%.
Since then I notice the 'cleaned' unit generally runs everything at about 80-100% CPU.
