Hi guys, I'm having a problem with some websites, where the following happens :- First this appears,

Internet Explorer has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

and then this ...

Internet explorer has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.

and finally at the bottom of the page this pops up :-
A problem with this page caused internet explorer to close and reopen the tab.

I am using Internet Explorer 11

Thanks so much for your time and expertise It's not urgent, but it is a little aggravating :help: Ricky

Usually when I have an issue like this, what I do is reset the internet explorer settings first. Click on the gear on the top left side of the screen, select "internet options" click the "advanced tab" then click the "reset" button. After that try with those websites again. If I still have issues with it after that I use CCleaner and use the registry tab and run that fix. If that fails to work for you I would recommend opening a thread in the malware removal thread as there may be a bigger issue at hand.

Thank you for your reply, neither of those options worked and I feel that I have ample protection with full AVG Internet Security 2014 .............. any advice would be appreciated, but I'd prefer it from an expert lolz

Sincerely
