Hi,

i have a toshiba laptop running WIndows Vista. i've been having a few problems today which are driving me round the bend. i've done a scan on my computer and come up with the error message Your system is infected with Gen:Variant.Symmi.14078
Clean your computer with The New Bitdefender Internet Security!. i've tried to download the windows update to remove this but my system isnt allowing me to update anything.

windows vista service pack 1 wont update

windows defender isnt working

i've got something called imminent on my system that isnt allowing me to uninstall it

basically..... i need some help
