Gameranger: Adobe Flash Player needs updating

Hi guys, hope one of you is reading this.
I have an issue with Gameranger. The problem is, I cant run it. I tried reinstalling it several times but when I lunch it, it says (screen): your Adobe Flash Player web plug-in is Version 1 and needs to be updated to the latest version for security fixes - Download and run the update from Adobe´s site. And then I click OK and the browsers automaticly launches the adobe downloading page. And I download it, but nothing. The same Issue again. I reinstalled Gameranger and Adobe flash player several times, with diffrent web browsers but I didnt solve the problem. Hope one of you can help me.

Just to be sure when you say you updated or reinstall Flssh Player do you mean the regular Flash Player or the required web plugin Adobe Shockwave Player.
