I wanted to try the virtual PC from VMware, so i d/l it. Can I use my Win 8 disks for the virtual PC too? or do i have to have a different product key ?
I don't even know if my laptop can handle this, I have to go back and rethink this.If anyone out there has any tips please let me know!

You can install it, just don't try to activate it. You can use slmgr /rearm from a Elevated Command prompt to extend the activation time limit up to 6 months I think.

nolacs22, what is the spec of your laptop? However actually I think that VMWare isn't intended for laptops, because their spec are much lower than desktop machines...be aware that VMWare will "eat" your RAM once you run it

Hi, thanks for the much needed input, and that is why i was going to rethink it. I find all of these cool things on the internet, and i want to jump right in and try it! My computer is:
