Hi

I'm looking for some one that could help me restore laptop to factory, as newly bought.

the laptop is a Acer aspire 4315 which I bought not as new but as a refurb which i did not receive any back up discs with.

I'v tried burning the back up disc myself but i get an error saying my disc in not big enough but it is 4.7gb, I'v chosen the burn to multi discs option but still no luck I also do not own windows on disc as windows was already installed.

The reasons I want to do all this is because the laptop is vertually unusable on the internet im constantly receiving pop ups, adds and all the other annoying things like that also i get a message saying the website is unresponsive and shock player plug in has stopped responding very often.

Thanks for any help and response in advance.

Hello djmarzy

Have you checked for a Recovery Partition by pressing Alt + F10 as soon as you restart the computer.

What OS are you using, Vista or W7

Where did you download the OS that you have already burned to disk.

Do you have a 4GB or larger thumb drive that you can burn a Windows ISO to.

Do you have the product key for your OS.
