sfc /scannow /offbootdir=e:\ /offwindir=e:\windows
 
Can use use the command changing both letter and try the drive letter it shows for your system drive. If you need to replace a drive letter replace both red letter. Tell me the what happens.

Tried C and E drive, still the same message "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service."

Since you mentioned earlier that you can access Lenovo Recovery Console can you read this to recover the OS?
