I'm not sure how to do this I've googled it and not really got an answer. I have found quite a few C+C servers and a lot of bots. Also so many servers serving up nasty malware as well as being used to spy on people collect data illegally and as a drop for a tonne of stolen and illegal data, who do I report them to to get them taken down legally?

I would like an answer from someone that has done this kinda thing before and knows exactly the procedure to follow. Most IP's are Chinese some American and Canadian, German and  a few others from other countries.

TIA

Hello! Without identifying my self completely, I fought the Chinese for months for stealing data from malwarebytes.   I had proof that in one month alone, they tried to hack my PC 720 times. I reported it with letters to 4 different officials in my local congress. I never received one reply back.

I admire what your wanting to do and wish you the best of luck. I will not revile the company here on this forum that tried to hack me.

I hope you get more attention than I did!! I can guarantee it will only get worse!! I have cleaned up two computers that were hacked by a Russian IP Address. They were using the PC and had taken control of it. I saved the pictures and some data, and restored them back to factory settings. I have no idea how they managed to do this. I found the problem after the person sent me a email and my protection warned me about the IP Address when I tried to open a attachment, which I was able to identify as coming from Russia.

Good luck!!

They haven't tried to hack my pc once and I have no attempts made, the trail I started from was on a friends firewall (router) which they haven't made it past.

I'm writing on the PC now that has all the attempts as I don't want to reveal in any way my own ip and it cant get much worse than attempts made every 5 secs from many IP's and has been ongoing from what I see for months.

I'm the one that has taken the evidence gone home got my lap top (bertha) and then gone on the offensive and mapped all the servers whether it be C+C or bots ect.

I've  Identified the people behind it all I need is the right people to give the info to to take it down. I did approach UK police but they seemed to not have a clue or care as I admitted to quite a few breaches of the law that enabled me to monitor these people and track back to them to find them which is worrying as I'm not that tech savvy just a casual user. Anyway they took the info said they would pass it on but not to hold out any hope because it wasn't a crime involving billions of pounds and wasn't something they normally deal with plus it was in different countries so difficult and time consuming to deal with. I now see why A people don't bother reporting  B why theres so much cyber crime Because they Governments do nothing about it. I have had an offer from some a certain group to take it down but I want it done legally so the people behind it get punished.

I never open emails from anyone I haven't started a convo with and if it looks false I kill it. I don't open attachments. And have taught this to the people who are under attack at the moment as well as other procedures to follow to make things a little safer.

Thanks for sharing your story Donetao I'm sorry for what happened to you and know the company you mention

So know one here  knows the official channel to follow?

Your very welcome. MBAM is my best friend and has blocked all malicious IP's so far. They use to have a life time license 24.95$, but now it's yearly. Still worth the price. I think Ad-Ware still has a free version and is recommended by this forum.

I also have a wireless router and I watch every thing very closely.

Good luck with your project. I really don't think anyone cares, but I admire your attitude. I've been there.

Here's a good software to test your security. GRC! Click on the free drop down at the top and run the tests.

Thanks for the info.

I all ready have lots of copies of Mbam life time licences which I give to friends or people I meet who suffer from problems with malware ect.

I have used shields up but not for a long time.

Your right no one cares and they make it hard to report as no one wants to take responsibility for anything thats internet related unless your famous or a gov official or have something they want :D

I will get a result I'm pretty sure

Thanks Donetao

Also so many servers serving up nasty malware as well as being used to spy on people

Is this not part of your original post?? This is a IP that malwarebytes blocked. Here are two more just recently.

193.109.68.183

198.50.134.44

I thought this was your what your topic was about. You can add these to your list. They are Russian IP addresses blocked !

They came in through emails from my wife's friends but were exposed by my security programs!! I have notified my wife's friend that their emails are hacked.
