Yikes! I'm inundated with popups! I have no idea (or if those pesky kids clicked on something!) but All I know is I want my iMac back to normal.  Any "safe" solution would be helpful.  Ironically Mackeeper is one of the pesky popups that keeps coming up. I promise I didn't click on it

I've gone into the safari settings and clicked BLOCK Popups, deleted cookies and plug-ins...and they are still everywhere :bashhead:

Hello,

have you still the problems or solved now?

1. If problems exists you should delete Mackeeper first see here: https://discussions....m/docs/DOC-3691

2. Download etrechek this will create a log file for the contents on your mac. Please if you post any logfile be sure you have delete private contents like your name for example. Etrecheck: http://etresoft.com/etrecheck

3. And last Download the Adware removal Kit from here: http://www.thesafemac.com/art/

Unpack and start it. This will remove any adware on your system. If any problem with this tool please tell me what happen.

Be sure at first post the logfile before using the Adware Removal Kit.

Greetings,

-aido
