I think my mb isnt sata3..its too old to be sata3 and i think 3gb/s is sata2 6gb/s is sata3.Ill try to do what you said.Be Right Back

You are correct I misread the Asus Website. It says "4 xSATA 3 Gb/s ports" it's 4x SATA 2 ports working at 3GB/s max.

it wont show up there too...ill try call the shop i bough the hdd and see if they can give me back my money or give me an other hdd

They should replace the drive if it's a recent purchase if not you can ask for a RMA from Western Digital because the drive should be under warranty.
