Hello,

 

I attempted to remove FBI virus that i got and after scanning with various removal tools now I have white screen after login screen.

 

I scanned with FRST and attached a log.

Can you right click the desktop .. Does a menu appear to personalise it ?

Could you run FRST again please and in the search box type :

User32.dll

Then press search files a search log will be generated please post that

No, desktop is not responsive. 

 

After search ended I received this message

This fix will replace the suspect user32.dll

Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST

I cannot run some software now and getting error.

 

Does it matter if that file user32.dll is on a 64bit system?

No it was replace from the 64bit cache ..

Could you run a fresh FRST scan now and include the additions.

What are the programme errors that you are getting ?

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

• Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Select additions at the bottom
• Press Scan button.
  
• It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Please attach both logs generated.

The error I am getting when trying to open an app:

OK there are two possible causes for this one is Visual c++ error in which case a re-install will fix it http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=13523
The other is a bad sector on your drive in which case a chkdsk will cure that

Which one would you like to try first ?

The logs look OK but, then you did throw everything at it bar the kitchen sink
