I have Windows 7 desktop and Firefox Browser

How to eliminate the animated little animal toy that's to the left of the Firefox Search Window?  It affects my sight and it drives me crazy too!  My browser is Firefox and my Search Engine Google.

I can send you a screenshot if necessary.  Thanks so much!    Adela

:welcome:

Adelag,

Do not think there is a way to remove this. Sometimes it does change on it's own i noticed.

You can change your homepage in options. Settings the gear on the bottom of home page, open it the first one you see is the General tab.

A screen shot would help as I don't know where this animated toy is.

I think you only see that if you are using a branded version of Firefox or Google+.

Doesn't show for me:

Try going to plain old google.com

Yes i believe question was for Mozilla Firefox browser which has this on it, not just the search engine used on it.

I suggested they could switch home pages on Mozilla, would be only way possibly to get rid of it, because only on Mozilla browser's use of google search.

Yes he/she can use just google.com as there home page, just go into the option settings in Mozilla's browser.

The image I posted was for Mozilla Firefox and Google.

That's what i said in post #2 and again in post # 6. It does not appear this ways all the time as originally posted by OP.

Change it to whatever home page you want and revert it back to default at anytime.

So far they have not responded back.
