Hello,

Most problems can be avoided if you only download apps with safe permissions.

To help find, you can use an app like Safe Play and think twice before installing an app with unsafe permissions.

Safe Play is extremely helpful to find safe apps... Try for example to find on Google Play a simple flashlight app that does not require internet permission...

Hello Steffen!

I recommend you use "Comodo Anti-Virus" with "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware".

Both of them together are perfect for a Android Device.

As long as you do not install applications outside the google play store, your chances of being infected are low. I am currently using Avast on my Samsung Galaxy S3. It offers a few extra things, besides malware related protection.

I suggest Avast, free and works great. Unless you install apps from external sources (outside Google Play), you should be fine.

I would recommend CM security or Avast anti virus. The're are plenty in the google play store. But you must choose the better rating.
