I managed to boot the Puppy from the USB and I saved up my files. I was unable to get the Win x32 recovery iso download completely. The download is getting failed when I reach 70 or so %. Trying with a download manager for the fourth time.

Okay, download is completed and I made it bootable usuing Rufus.

I installed IDM on the computer and downloaded it.

Boot machine using USB and access the command prompt. Run there
chkdsk c: /r

Shall I let it do the revcovery and repair? It is showing the error found is Windows Boot manager.

Thanks a lot. The computer is running perfect! That nasty registry file is the culprit, and the repair disc has done it's job.
