First, why did you uninstall your anti-virus software? Which one was it?

If you were able to do that then you have admin privileges, why do you think you don't?

You want to uninstall free security protection then you have to follow few steps –

First download & uninstall uninstaller.exe file on your desktop - double click on uninstaller.exe file – Select yes button if message displayed “ do you want to run this uninstaller?”
If your operating system is visible, then reboot your computer – Restart your computer again

Your post is a bit irrelevant since jeff already stated that he uninstalled his "free security protection". Also, what "Uninstaller.exe" are we talking about ? This is a pretty generic name for an executable file. What does it do ? Where do you get it ? Etc.

i was trying to improve my old pc's performance.

i ended up having to use a re installation disk after my laptop was not even getting to user log on.

i was getting blue screen to.

after the re install,so far so good.

i'v got 360 security program running now.

i tried all kinds of free downloaded programs, now i'v got all kinds of sevices and stuff i would like to remove.

it'kind of changed my configuration and stuff.

for starters i cant get diagnostic policy service to work.

and some services i cant access, from lack of privileges.

i think i mess up my privileges on o/s hard drive.

is there a simple solution for this.

also how do you close old topics.lol
