Volume icon name is in German

We have gotten a new pc and the language settings are in English, but if the tool till for the volume icon on the taskbar is in German. There was a couple of other things that were in German, but I cannot remember them,

I think the OS could be pirated. Or worse, it could be corrupted or even infected by malware.

Showing hidden system files highlights a german documents and settings folder and also a programme one in edition to the english versions. Delete?

Where did you buy this PC ? Did it come with OS ? What Audio software and drivers are on PC ? Make and model ?

Would not delete anything as of yet.

Actually reckon its ok. It was bought from Germany and I think the sound card is mostly german.

Well makes sense why it's in german too. Look for settings in Sound card.If you already made changes in control panel under Language.
