From time to time the URLs in the address bar of my Firefox will go invisible. It has not happened with my other browsers or anywhere else. What might be causing this? Closing and reopening Firefox does fix this.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
