I have an HP Pavilion dv9925nr laptop with Windows Vista. 3 or 4 years ago I had this blue blurry screen come up. I could still see the images, but it was all hazy blue. To Geek Squad I went and they said it wasnt worth fixing. The to another computer repair place several people recommended. They too said it was worth fixing, and had 'big issues'. So I went back to Best But and bought another HP DV7-6C95DX (believe) and it cost me $880 for it and all the baloney to get it back where the other one was. Fast forward it several years and I desided to clear all the bull out of the old one and send it out to a place in Buffalo (said it was over heating). I first saw all these videos on Real Player ( bunch of news clips duplicated in sets of 3-4) and started deleting them. Half way through it the screen got clearer. Once I had deleted all of about 30 of those news clips . The computer was like new! I about flipped I had spent all that money for nothing on a new computer.
Now approximately 10 months later (not hooked up even once to the internet at home, but at Best Buy for 10 minutes) my lawyer has me burn a dvd. It was a pain, and had to get Nero software. After burning the dvd, and taking all the pics out of my phone. The happiness is back! It took 2000 pics out of my phone and one MP4 video. I deleted the video and nothing. So then started deleting pics.....and the mild haziness is still there as well as aboit 1600 pics. What in the world could this be?
When you move the minister to open and close the screen does not effect it at all. Someone said a short in the monitor connection. But the screen does flicker or anything when moving it.
Help! Ive already had 2 people look at it, and one a discription over the phone 3 years ago......and they were all wrong. I fix it simply by deleting small videos out of Real Player. Help!
