Every time I try to use my command prompt I get an error.

'command' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Please help.

  1. Press Win + Pause/Break keys at same time and select the Advanced Settings.
  2. Click Environment Variables. In the section System Variables, find the PATH environment variable and select it. ...
  3. In the Edit System Variable window, add C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32

Are the error same as before, change the directory path to C:\Windows if executable command is located here or change it to C:\Windows\System32 directory with Cd command. Which commands your trying to execute can you list few that are not working here in your next post.
