Hi,

Some of out network users are being disconnected from our network drives. The strange thing is that they can connect again when we manually add the mapped drive. Sometimes, they're not disconnected but only seeing some (not all) of the folders on the network drive, but also the content of these folders are empty, but in fact, they aren't .

These are all namespaces, been set up in DFS Management on our domain controller (Windows 2008 Std R2). The namespaces their paths are shared folders from a Linux file server (Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS). Nothing at all has been changed in this configuration and this only happens with the same users, so I think the problem has to be found on the client pc. I'm quite sure now because we changed all the switches and cables too last month and the problem still persists. It only happens with 3 or 4 same users from a network of 150 users.

Anyone an idea?

Thanks for the help! :-)
