Hello,

I am looking to order a computer.

I am also looking to install a wifi card into this computer.

My question is: Are they compatible? Or should I buy something like this?

Thank you for your help!

You should purchase  the product as it will give you good speed and you can carry it someplace else also.

I would go with the card.

A possible issue would be that the wireless card is a PCI-E (pci e). It requires a pci e slot.

The specs on the computer don't tell me if there is one there. There probably is but you are buying refurbished.

Hope you don't mind the interjection folks  :)

Found the specs for the computer here and it says that it has a Wireless LAN: HP 802.11 b/g/n Wireless PCIe x1 card and Newegg lists a Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Plus PCIe NIC
