This might be a driver issue. Maybe MSI does not offer newer keyboard/mouse drivers for your model...
I got a Toshiba Satellite that came with Windows 8.1 After the upgrade to Windows 10, i had a new system with a new Windows minus all the toshiba related stuff (good & not so good).
One thing i did miss and lost was the 'Toshiba Function Key' program. With it, can press any of the F buttons up top to do many things like change volume, display brightness, wifi etc. Now i can't just press it, but instead i have to press an extra button which is 'FN' key. Maybe thats the same with u ?
hope this helps...
On my HP laptop there is a setting in BIOS that determines whether you need to push the Fn key to get the function keys at the top of the keyboard to do what's shown on their respective icons. By default that setting is "off" so that the keys simply work when pushed. This is the first and only laptop (or computer in general) I've had with this feature and the feature enabled.
I'd explore that if your machine had that capability. I wish I could remember what that setting was called but can't at the moment.
I just posted a separate thread on booting into BIOS under Windows 10, so see that for the steps.
My laptop, and apparently a number of others, have a setting in BIOS that controls whether the function keys at the top of the keyboard simply work when pressed or require the pressing of the fn key at the bottom of the keyboard at the same time in order to perform their noted functions.
On my machine this setting in BIOS is under System Configuration and is called "Action Keys Mode". I have an HP 15-gw035wm.
