cannot use windows media player

After updating this new copy of Vista home premium I cant go to media player. The icon and the start up have disipered. I tried to download a new one but couldnt because site said I have one.. Couldnt find a fix-it tool on microsoft. Maybe there is and I missed it.

WMP is here:

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe for 32 bit.

C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe for 64 bit (maybe).

 

Go to that folder in Windows Explorer, right click on wmplayer.exe and select Pin to Start.
