I had a few Driver Agents, It would not allow me to delete them, So i just disabled them... Same with Java, I disabled it.
I went to services.msc and ran as admin, went to Office Source Engine but it was already set to Manual..

Acknowledged, do you have any problems with updating Office.

On the other hand, My computer was fine yesterday and the day before, But today has froze with that weird screen twice.

What were you using the computer for in both instances, this to see if there is a common denominator.

No knowledge i can remember of updating Office. Other than the Creating Restore point that happens with all updates.

I had the same things open as today. (Youtube Playlist, This website, Facebook, Royalgames.com 'Gaming website', chrome tabs) Word Document X 2 that's it...

Just checked Speccy and Office does seem to be updating ok.

If I had to hazard a guess I would say that your graphics card can`t handle the load that you have been putting on it and that your Ram is ok.

Ok, My Graphics card is on my Motherboard if i remember right i think its called Onboard Graphics Chipset, Can i just order a new Graphics card and install it? Would i have to some how unhook the original Graphics Chipset?

So many questions and for that i apologize,

I just don't want to buy something that doesn't work with what i have or buy it and find out i have to use a different Mother Board..

Edit: Just thought about this, The computer also freezes with the weird screen over night, My screen always stays on (Not set to sleep), But at night when i go to sleep i close all programs and browsers so it's just my desktop screen open.

It would not have anything to do with my Graphics card would it?

Ah, didn't know about this. could still be the graphics chip and possibly overheating, it may be best to do the suggested Ram testing if only to try and rule it in or out as the cause.

Both correct.

Can i just order a new Graphics card and install it?

I wouldn't without also getting a better quality PSU but yes you can if you intend keeping the machine.

Would i have to some how unhook the original Graphics Chipset?

No, it stays where it is.

So many questions and for that i apologize,

Ask away and certainly no need for any apology.

I did smell a burning smell the other week but could never find the source,

Would you happen to know how i could decide on a new GPU and PSU?

What wattage would i need to look for or would all that depend on the graphics card i choose?

and when i hook up the new graphics card my computer will pop up that a new item was detected and ask me to set it up?

i have never changed a graphics card before so im clueless..

If i am searching the right things, I should be able to get both items shipped to my door for under $55.00

I am not a pc gamer or anything i just listen to music online and play games online on Occasion so the cheaper the better in my eyes :D

Could be anything unfortunately, dust inside the PSU for example, regardless the burned smell is not good.

I would still suggest that the Ram is checked out.

Can you post links to what you have been looking at, you dont need anything high end but $55.00 would not get you anything of quality.

Hi, I dust the inside of my PC every 4-5 months. There are no smokers in my house and i keep a clean house so overall the PC is fairly clean inside..

this is my computer, Stock, I only upgraded the RAM is the only difference

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16883114066

These 3 Graphics cards are what i found at first, They prob are not good quality but as long as they work for awhile i will be happy..

The PSU i found im not sure it will work with these Graphics cards?

http://www.newegg.co...AQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

The second one is a bigger Wattage

http://www.directron...ac.html?gsear=1

With the clear one i would have to cut a hole out in the side of my PC for the 2nd fan but that is no problem..

Just let me know what you think or if you have a difference in opinion please shed the light on me :)

Hi Leroyman,

Good that you keep the insides dust free

Of the three cards, the one here would be my suggestion, for me cooling fans are better than passive coolers.

I would not recommend either of those PSUs, go cheap on a PSU and you will get problems, take a look at the PSU guidance links in my signature for more information.

Hi,

Sorry for late reply.. Finally got snow, so been out goofing off :)

Nice choice on the Graphics card! I liked that one the best anyway!

Not that i knew the difference in the 3 but this was the prettiest looking one  :spoton:

On the PSU, The one you showed me looks very nice, As much as a PSU can look i suppose. ( :

When i have some free time and free change, I will order those parts... Thank you so much for your time and decisions.

Tomorrow afternoon sometime i plan on removing all the RAM again and doing the RAM check word for word how you mentioned earlier in the post.. I may have gotten in a hurry last time..

I will report back with any findings i come across with the RAM. and certainly after i order the parts and install them.

Is there anything else you may have thought of that could cause the computer crashes and screen to freeze like it does?

The RAM/RAM Slots

The On board Graphics Chip

The PSU

The Driver's

Not double checking you! Not in anyway! Just making sure i have not over looked a cheap switch/relay or BIOS battery or something i could get from my local Radio Shack and fix the same day.

No problem, enjoy the snow until it becomes a pain in the proverbial  ;)

When i have some free time and free change, I will order those parts..

Post back first in case we can find them elsewhere for less cash, Newegg and TigerDirect for example have different specials going all of the time.

Is there anything else you may have thought of that could cause the computer crashes and screen to freeze like it does?

Nothing that can be tested by the average user, the Ram you can do a thorough physical test and this goes some way to testing the memory slots on the MB, the MB and CPU however cannot be tested without specialist equipment and spare parts to swap in and out.

JAFYI: One major reason why it is important to use a known good quality PSU is because inferior ones may appear to be working ok when in fact they are either not putting out enough power or they spike and put out too much, this over a period of time damages all of the hardware and often without the rogue PSU popping itself.

Will look out for you memory test update and you are welcome btw  :)

Hi, I did the Ram test and again everything checks out. I checked all 4 sticks in slot 1 all showed on my computer and checked each slot with all 4 sticks and all showed up on my system. 2 sticks of 1 gb showed 1 gb 894 mb usable the 2 other 2 gb sticks showed 1.87 gb usable. Sorry for the delay. My Internet provider is experiencing some difficulties so no Internet for 2 days so far. Cell phone is a completely different set up for me so I will post back when my Internet is back to working. :)

Ram and MB slots appear to have checked out ok and thanks for sticking with the monotonous testing

For the record,

I hate my internet company!

Find out today that my internet was put on hold because of non payment...... But i have a bank statement saying otherwise. My internet provider is saying i have not paid in 3 months so i took my bank statements to them and they say that they are sorry but their system does not show my payments. So now i had to pay $318.00 to get my internet back

"i will be reimbursed  when they look into it more."

So my computer parts have to wait for now.

I don't mean to rant but im pissed right now!

I had proof i paid!  What else does a person need...

Some people need taken out back is all im saying..

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your ISP and hope that they resolve the issue quickly, and with an apology for you at the bare minimum
