I like Eclipse IDE, here are its pros and cons

Pros:
- Best IDE for Java development with major plug-ins for most frameworks and platforms.
- It is open source and extensible.
- Best IDE for C/MPI development for traditional HPC.

Cons:
- resource hungry and has a large memory footprint.

It is Eclipse for me, simply because there are so many options in customization. Did enjoy NetBeans too, though, especially when was learning the basics.

Hello,

I am using NetBeans IDE last two years it is the best IDE because of its simples UI, and great autocorrect features.

Thanks
