Red X's in email messages in Outlook Express 2010

I've suddenly started getting Red X's in my email where images are supposed to be in Outlook Express 2010. I don't know why it is doing this. I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit on my computer. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

I'd try the fixit here:

It says for Outlook but should also work for Outlook Express.
