Hi my name is kayla im not very smart when it comes to computers i have a hp 19 all in one pc i was getting rid of some old school work and it was working fine i updated to Windows 10 but i believe it came with 8 or 8.1 installed anyways i put it to sleep and when i woke up the next day it was powered down so i thought a update and just powered it up and then the blue box

Can you tell us about the blue box that you mention in your OP, did it contain an error message etc

 

See if you are able to boot into Safe Mode with Networking by starting up the computer until it gets to the point where Windows stops loading, at this point power down the computer and repeat the same procedure once or twice more, hopefully after the second/third boot attempt fails the Windows Recovery Environment will become available to you, see guide here it is an ASUS article but the principle for your HP is the same.
