My wife and I are looking to buy a new laptop or iPad. The only things we will use it for is Microsoft Office, buying prints from our camera and CDs, and maybe some internet browsing. We want something simple, affordable, and dependable. The only thing that will be stored is pictures.

What are our best options and where should we look to shop? We live in Reading, PA.

Thank you!

:welcome:   Grimmace2413,

A 1TB hard drive for storage and a computer that can be upgraded to accept more RAM are about the only two things that I suggest you keep in mind, your intended use will be covered by most notebooks on sale today.

Couple of questions before making any recommendations if that is ok  :)

What size screen would you prefer, 15.6" being the most popular.

Do you have a maximum budget for us to work to, it will avoid anyone suggesting notebooks that cost more than you would like to spend.
