Maybe I'm wrong, but since there is no oxygen to ignite the primer and powder, would a traditional pistol or revolver fire on the Moon? It made me wonder after I saw a TV show and an enemy agent was threatening someone with a handgun on the moon. Also what was funny is that every movement they made produced sound. An atmosphere is needed to carry sound. The writers didn't think that sci-fi plot through very well.
