Hello there,
Recently I got a threat from someone who said that he knows my physical address, by/through tracking/using the addressv4 IP (ipv4??) of my mobile data. Is this possible? The person who threatens me is a bit of a savvy in technology and conducts illegal stuff online and he knows my email address (not password). Should I take this threat seriously that he knows my physical address?

It's not so much your IP, as that usually just shows where your Internet Service Provider is located. Other software, for example browsers can provide geolocation and photos often provide geotags, accurate to a few yards.

A public VPN will almost certainly slow down your Internet, not speed it up
