I ran two(2) separate speedtest and someone is lying. (I'm leaning WAY over toward Spectrum. trust Ookla more) I've done this in the passed and found that Spectrum(formally BrightHouse) was "skimming my bandwidth. Now it's a much bigger difference. I read here someone said something about the cable company throttling my bandwidth. Could this be what's happening to me? I'm paying for 100, I expect at least 85 but what the test(Ookla) show is 31 Download. Sure could use some experienced insight on this. Those duck cluckers think because I'm  female and blonde I don't know Jack! Who's lying???

Are you wired or wireless?

I am wired.  Wireless is less consistent.

Do you have an adblocker turned on?  Try disabling it and reloading the page.

I'm having some second thoughts about Ookla's results today.  Just ran mine on Chrome with adblock plus and it said I only had 30

Turned off the adblocker and reloaded and now I supposedly have 208.  (I only pay for 50).  Chrome gives me the beta.speedtest.net.

Switched over to Firefox which has a different adblocker  (Ublock Origin) and it tests 232 turned off the adblocker and it dropped to 24.  Turned it back on and got 230 again.   Firefox gives me the old speedtest.net

Tried it on IE which doesn't have an adblocker because I never use it and I get just 20.  IE gives me the beta.speedtest.net

Opera say 24 and uses the beta.speedtest

I go back to Firefox with the adblocker on and get 232.

I tried

http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest

Seems more consistent over all browsers with or without adblock.  Claims I have over 200 on all browsers.

http://speedtest.att.com/speedtest/Claims I have 149-177 or so.  Not as consistent over the different browsers.
