Hi. Having a problem. I was messing around with file sharing, trying to get my Fire Stick to access an external hard drive connected to my computer. I was able to access it from another computer, but was never able to get the Fire Stick to see it. In my attempts to do this, I changed some permissions. I somehow ended up with Everybody and Owner with only read permissions. System still has all permissions. When I attempt to change them, it's all grayed out. Not sure where to go to from here. I was thinking about reformatting, but it will take forever to copy all the data back. Plus I'm not sure even that will work. By the way, I'm using Windows 10 on a Dell desktop computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok. Figured out a work around. The only thing I could change was the owner. Somehow the owner become the recycle bin folder on the drive. I was able to change the owner to myself and the owner has read/write permissions. I am now able to write to the drive.
