I would like to play around with this. I had a similar issue with Word. I had to change the file being saved to a .doc instead of a .docx or vice versa ... can't remember which. S... Go to the full post »

hi,

i experience the problem with Powerpoint file. Its not opening.

Saying: PowerPoint found an error that it can’t correct.

The following were done to troubleshoot:

Control panel -> programs and features -> Microsoft office professional 2013-> Change -> repair.
Updating Office 2013

I would be grateful for solutions and suggestions proferred.

Note that the file may be so corrupted that it cannot be repaired.

If it was downloaded from the internet, you might try downloading it again.
