accidentally delete a core component in HJThis

While attempting to clean out a trojan call nail.exe, I accidentally delete a key needed to run 'search' in Windows XP. It now say 'a file that is required to run search companion cannot be found. You may need to run set up'. I have tried this method http://support.micro...b;en-us;Q319949
but all of them does not work (only 1 apply to me because I have SP2)
How could I restore this key?
Any help is appreciated

I believe a key that register a core file needed for search function is deleted, but all the files are intact. Perhaps there is a way to restore the key in the registry?
