Hi everyone!
I am starting a remote position in Feb and need a new laptop. I will be working remote as a sales rep, so I need expert suggestions on the best lap top to by.
I will be making virtual calls and using soft phones, so I am most interested in a pc that will be optimized for this purpose. This is really going to be used primarily to make and receive calls, do light general office work, and of course stream the occasional video throughout the day to keep myself from going nutty. I will not be gaming, do not download any music or video files, and basically use my iphone for most browsing, so this is really going to be mainly for business purposes related to making calls as a sales rep. My main questions center around being able to find something under $500 that is optimized for what I have specified, and basically if at that price point and for my prurposes if there is really any difference.
I have been looking at the HP 17z with AMD Quad-Core A12-9720P APU, and the HP 17t with Intel® Core™ i3-7100U. They both fit my budget, and as someone who is clueless seem like ok choices. Would you suggest either of these for my needs? at this level and for my needs is it worth paying more for the Intel Core i3?
Any responses would be really appreciated!
Thanks everyone!
Dan
