Today was very windy here and the power went out for a split second. Upon restarting our computer we have this blue box in the middle of the screen that says Out Of Range with H. Frequency 130.8KHZ and V. Frequency 120.1HZ below it. Went into the display settings to check the frequency refresh rate and it says 60HZ. What can I do as I have searched with no resolve. Thanks for any help.

Try Safe Mode with Networking
(Reboot and when you see the maker's logo, hear a beep or it talks about F8, start tapping the F8 key slowly. Keep tapping until the Safe Mode Menu appears and choose Safe Mode with Networking. Login with your usual login.)
If that works then right click on Computer and select Manage then Device Manager. Find Display Adapters, click on the arrow in front to open it. Right click on the Display Adapter thus revealed and Uninstall. (Don't remove files if asked) Reboot. If that doesn't help then download the latest version of your display adapter from your PC maker's website or the adapter maker's website. See if that will help.

We have another monitor and I switched them and it worked just fine. So I assumed the first one was bad and just for the heck of it hooked it up to another computer and was surprised that it worked ok. So all I can say is that's weird.
