My late 2011 MacBook Pro i7 is overheating.....

...is overheating really bad. Especially on the bottom left and the front as well but not as much. I just order some more ram and want to get a SSD 480 drive. Any suggestions what I can do?

Open it up, remove the fan and clean the dust off the heatsink.  Doesn't look too hard:

I see the fan in Step 8.  Looks like it is held in place with a  few screws.
