Toshiba Satellite c55 series will not proceed pass the sign in.

My laptop will not proceed past the sign in page.  Was using 4 digit code and it would be stubborn but I could enter.  Deleted the code and it went to a password.  The email address is [email protected].  I went to Microsoft and changed the password.  The laptop did not acknowledge the new password.  I have changed the password again and it is still not opening.  It is connected to the internet.  Not sure how to proceed.

As per the GTG Terms of Use that we all agreed to when we joined;

 

Due to the nature of online help we are not able to verify ownership, and will not be able to help bypass or recover any user passwords, cd keys, license codes, serial numbers, etc.

 

While we will not help you with getting around passwords we can advise you as to how you can have this resolved using legitimate means, take the computer to a reputable tech local to you or have them come to you, you will need proof of ownership such as the sales invoice, picture ID such as a driving licence/passport and proof of your address such as a recent utility bill.
