I have an audio sales pitch on my W10 PC speaker that keeps repeating itself. I don't know how I got it.
How can i determine what its file name is so I can delete it?
Thanks. ...batpark

Download : ADWCleaner to your desktop.
NOTE: If using Internet Explorer and get an alert that stops the program downloading, click on the warning and allow the download to complete.
Close all programs, pause your anti-virus and right click on the AdwCleaner icon and select Run As Admin.
Click on I agree
Click on Scan and follow the prompts. Let it run unhindered.
When done, click on the Clean & Repair button, and follow the prompts. Allow the system to reboot. After Reboot, AdwCleaner will popup. Hit View Log File. You will then be presented with the report. Copy & Paste this report on your next reply.(Ctrl + a, Ctrl + c then move to a Reply and Ctrl + v)
The report will be saved in the C:\AdwCleaner\Logs folder.
If that doesn't get it then we will need to have this thread moved to our Malware forum so we can run FRST.
RKinner: Thanks for your response. For the moment, at least, the intrusion cured itself. It disappeared overnight. ....batpark
They seldom go away completely. Would be wise to see if AdwCleaner finds anything.
