I am posting this request here (for help in eliminating a particularly troubling ad) rather than in a GtG Malware forum because I am hoping to avod having to implement the full range of measures usually recommended there. Please see a screenshot showing the ad in the lowwer left corner.

Can someone at least help me identify the ad sponsor; it [seems?] as if it is Microsoft, could that really be?

Have others been bothered by it? It actually obscures my monitor.

Have others posted fixes? Thanks.  .... batpark
