I recently bought a Dell OPtiplex 9030 aio and wanted to turn it into a gaming computer. At the moment it has a intergrated graphics card so i cannot swap it. Any suggestions for an external graphics card?

Someone mentioned an RTX 2060 do you think that is the best option and if it is how do i make it into an external graphics card?

Thanks very much for your help,

:welcome:   Theo1,

Moved your OP to a more appropriate forum, the Off Topic forum is for questions about anything in general and not specifically tech related help.

Is the computer at the link here the same as what you have.

Thanks, and yes this is the computer in your link. It has an i5 4590s inside. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve/upgrade the graphics card on this computer?

Thanks in advance,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this computer cannot accommodate an add on video card, the MB is basically that of a notebook type computer in that it does not have any PCI-E slot for such a card, the Dell only has a 185W power supply because of this as the only graphics option is from the Intel HD video from the processor which is not too demanding.

Thanks for that, is there any potential for upgrading the Motherboard or the Processor with intergrated graphics card?

Unfortunately not, the AIO type computer are just not intended for anything other than school or office type work, the graphics are integrated into the processor itself and any CPU upgrade even if possible would not improve the video output to anything that you would even notice.

The MB at the link here is what is what is in your computer.

You are welcome btw
