When I try to power up my Canon MP980 printer, the amber fault warning light comes on and I get fault message U052: "The type of print head is incorrect.  Install the correct print head."  This is manifestly not the case as the print head is the one installed when I first bought the printer.  I have had the problem before and it has gone away over time without my doing anything (that I can recall) to resolve it.  This time it is not going away and I need my printer!  All ink cartridges appear to be functioning though 2 are on the slow blink "ink is running low".  The printer is connected to a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop running Windows 10.

Can anyone advise on how to solve this problem please?
