Hi,

So I have purchased Modern Warfare and downloaded the game from Blizzard. Every time I try to start it up I get an error message saying it cannot load as my GPU is not supported. I have researched this and tried everything that has been suggested. Updated graphics card drivers. No HDMI in motherboard, only HDMI is for my one monitor which goes directly to my graphics card. The only graphics card showing in device manager is my current card, no integrated card, so I doubt the game is trying to start with anything else. Yet still I cannot play. I have a AMD Radeon HD 6900 series card, i5 processor with 8 gig of RAM. After doing a check online the only thing that fails is the RAM could be bigger, however my GPU is fine and so I cannot find a reason for it not to run.

Any help would be appreciated.

Andy

Hello andy101,

Your GPU does not meet the minimum spec required for the game, if using an AMD card you need a minimum of a Radeon HD 7950, it is not just about the amount of VRAM it is also about drivers, Direct X, memory bandwidth etc to name just a few things that the games software needs,
