Hello. We have a broken Toshiba laptop (Satellite L355D-S7901) and we want to replace its motherboard, but we can't identify the motherboard. Without a name, we don't have a place to start the search. Does anyone know the name of that motherboard? Here's the information sticker: AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-72, 3GB SDRAM

appears to be the PN per:

however I see the same PN on what they claim is an intel board at:

Looking at the specs for the thing I personally wouldn't waste any money fixing it.  Came with Vista and max memory is only 4 GB and it's two generations behind (DDR2).  You can get a used Win 7 laptop pretty cheap these days.  Saw a working one advertised locally for $25.  Easy enough to get a cheap USB to SATA adapter  (bought one on Newegg last month for $7) and use it to pull off the data.

Alright, cool, thanks. We still gonna try to get that motherboard because getting a new laptop is just too out of our reach, we're in a 3rd world country.
