Hey Guys,

My boarder has a sony viao, and currently is his laptop is a 4GB of PC3-12800, he is wondering if a PC3-1600 will work in it too its a 4GB, I am sure it will work but just slow the other RAM down to speed of the 1600.

What do you think?

The operating systems forums are for OS related threads so I think that you should start your threads on the appropriate forum KiwiProbie  ;)

Not going to get into a spat with you here KiwiProbie and I am genuinely sorry that you feel aggrieved in some way but I make no apology for not being prepared to answer your question until it had been asked in a civil manner, the words please and thank you cost nothing after all.
