I have a Motorola SB5101 wired modem connected to a desktop with a Windows 7 64-bit OS and 2 MB RAM. Attached are the results of a speed scan done through my ISP. Just wanted to know if it is adequate.

How is my modem speed test?

Depends on what speed you are paying for. I'm on cable and we get about 100 Mbps. When we switch back to AT&T it slows down to about what you have.

My ISP is Spectrum cable and, according to their invoice, I have "standard" internet, whatever that means.

On the same page as the speed test:
https://www.spectrum...=speedtest-only
in the upper corner is a form to put in your address. If you fill it out it should tell you what speeds are offered in your area. Tell it that you are moving to the address. Then scroll down to where it just talks about Internet. This is what they offer in my area:
If you are not getting the basic speed then try power cycling your spectrum router and retest (sometimes you need to turn off your ad blocker and pause your anti-virus to get the best results). If it looks like you only have a fraction of your standard internet rate then call Spectrum and complain.

The key words are "UP TO" - that can mean anywhere from that and below. Thanks again.
