Computer is taking longer to load apps. Mouse freezes and won't move for a minute or two. Then it works OK for a while.

It seems that the Malware removal procedure isn't completed. You can send icotonev a reminder about it. I'm sure he missed the topic and he will respond as soon as you send him a personal message. http://www.geekstogo...24986-icotonev/

After that, if the computer continues to be slow, the experts here at the Windows 10 Forum can take over.

Haven't heard from icotonev. Makes me wonder if he's still active here.

Give another day. If no response, I'll take a look at it.

Hi, John.

Let me look at new FRST logs, please. If needed, I'll ask for this topic to be moved to the Malware Removal Forum.

Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

If your antivirus software detects the tool as malicious, it’s safe to allow FRST to run. It is a false-positive detection.

If English is not your primary language, right click on FRST.exe/FRST64.exe and rename to FRSTEnglish.exe/FRST64English.exe

  • Double-click the FRST icon to run the tool. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button and wait for a while.
  • The scanner will produced two logs on your Desktop: FRST.txt and Addition.txt.
  • Please attach the content of these two logs in your next reply.

(To attach the files, click on the More Reply Options at the bottom right of the reply area, and then choose Attach File)

Something to add:

Along with the two logs, please give me a more detailed description of your issues. Slowness at start up? Only when open programs or when you use the internet? Give me examples if you can.

It seems that icotonev replied to the initial thread, so I'm leaving you in his hands. If you still need help with other issues (other than malware removal), you can post here again.

Let us know. :)
