I I have a document open in Microsoft Word. It contains Numerous links. I'm supposed to be able to open them by CTRL-CLICKING on them. When I do that, The following error pops up. The System
administrator (me) doesn't know what to do about that.

Can someone help?

Jim B.

Hello,

jimbir.

I saw that error before today on another machine.

Can I ask some important questions

When did the problem start ?

Have you uninstalled any browser lately ? or any other changes...???

What operating system are  you using ?

What version of Microsoft word  or Microsoft office are you using ?

Hello,

jimbir.

I saw that error before today on another machine.

Can I ask some important questions

When did the problem start ?                                                                   I only attempted to use this feature yesterday.

Have you uninstalled any browser lately ? or any other changes...???   No.

What operating system are  you using ?                                                  Windows 10, 64 bit

What version of Microsoft word  or Microsoft office are you using ?        Office 2007 (never had a problem with it and see no reason to upgrade).

The error seems to indicate it's an administrator setting                                                                                                                              problem rather than a program or system problem.

Hello,

MS Office 2007 is out of Support years ago : October 10, 2017 .  It is a Security risk even using it and especially clicking on a link."Why not get something that is current and supported and free Office :
