I am hav.ing trouble connecting to the Apache Open Office Community Forum. And so has a friend.

 

My laptop has no trouble reaching any other site on the internet. Can any GTGer tell me what may havehappened to the site? Can anyone give me the email address of an OpenOffice administrator?

This is the contacts page https://www.openoffice.org/contact_us.html But the only option left on this page appears to be the mailing list option.

The only email I can find for them is [email protected]

From what I've read they no longer provide updates to open office software and open office seems to have been replaced by libreoffice. https://www.libreoffice.org/

Use is it down to check the forums status https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

The forum is working again by the way

Do you (or anyone) know how I can recover the Open Office Forum with all its posts? I can't believe that treasure chest was just deep-sixed. .... batpark
